When I joined the Hornets digital team in the summer of 2019, the team had just traded their franchise player, Kemba Walker.
The challenge: turn a moment of uncertainty in Buzz City into a time of hope, opportunity and fun for the millions of fans that love the purple and teal.

With a focus on developing a cohesive, platform-specific social strategy, integrating paid social in an intentional way, and showcasing our young, exciting players’ personalities (on-and-off the court), our team continues to accomplish this goal.
Since I’ve joined and led the social media team, we’ve seen a 54% increase in total social followers with significant growth on Instagram (87%), Twitter (22%), LinkedIn (80%), YouTube (512%), Snapchat (816%) & TikTok. Additionally, our overall social media engagement has increased by 268%.

Let’s be real. Hostess doesn’t need help building brand awareness. Instead, our team was able to focus on building relationships with millennial women on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
As a result of a targeted, strategic, and unexpected approach to the Hostess social accounts, Instagram following increased by over 270% and Twitter engagement grew by over 564%. Cosmopolitan called the Hostess Instagram more enthralling than the MET or MoMA. This strategy also earned an Honorable Mention in the 2018 PR News’ Social Media Awards.

Domtar Paper, an international paper company based in Fort Mill, SC, needed a new way to connect with consumers. Our team developed an artful social media strategy to inform, entertain, and ultimately show the public that #PaperIsCool. I developed content calendars, wrote copy, and scheduled posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. In my time working with Domtar, we increased their Instagram following by 128%, engagement by 833%, and impressions by 501%.

To increase yoga memberships and retain current clientele, Om Yoga needed a strong Facebook and Instagram strategy, an effective monthly newsletter, an optimized website, and a consistent blog. Since first implementing my social media and digital marketing strategy in 2016, Om Yoga’s Instagram presence has seen a 284% increase in engagement.
When Langley Dental Care decided to start a new chapter of their story with a fresh name, an updated logo, and a brand new office, they came to Laire Group Marketing for help.
